The 2,000 km Barrier Reef

The 2,000 km Barrier Reef

With a length of over 2,000 km, the Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest living structure on Earth. The reef is a haven for scuba diving and snorkeling, but this World Heritage Site is in grave danger from a range of threats caused by human activity.

We can only hope that by generating greater awareness of the risks our actions present and the threats we can control, we can go some way to encouraging people to take action and turn the tide on the gradual destruction of one of the world’s most important natural features.
