Fitz Roy is the most stunning hike in Patagonia simply because you get the chance to see condors, guanacos, foxes and nandus.
Popular destinations in the area include Laguna de los Tres and Laguna Torre and there are numerous day hike circuits relatively easy to explorehike independently. You can also join one of the tours organized to help you discover and explore the Mount Fitz Roy or the Lagunas, in the company of local guides who know all about these natural wonders. The biggest concern for hikers is the wind, so don't forget to bring warm clothes.
Fitz Roy Mountain is situated in Los Glaciares National Park in the area known as Austral Andes in Argentina and was declared a "World Heritage" Site by UNESCO in 1981.
