Cheile Turzii (Turda Gorge in English) is a 2.9 km (1.8 mi) canyon located in the county of Cluj in Romania. Averaging 300 m (984 ft) in height, the cliffs are a desired destination for rock climbers around the world.
Cheile Turzii is also a nature reserve, hosting more than 1,000 plant species, some of which are extremely rare. If you're also passioned by caving, be surprised to find out that 60 caves are waiting for you to be explored, although some are very small.
