About Bosta Beach

Bosta Beach can be found in the north of Great Bernera; an island linked to the Isle of Lewis by a bridge in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Taste walking along the glittering white shell sands of Bosta Beach, which has connections with the Iron Age, the Vikings, and the Highland Clearances. You can study more about the island of Great Bernera at the Bosta Iron Age House, which is situated on Bosta Beach. In 2010, Bosta Beach was elected to make part in Marcus Vergette’s exclusive data recording project. The Time and Tide Bell is a standing installation of 12 bells around the UK that ring when the sea is at high flow.
