About Broadsands Beach

Located in Paignton, Devon, Broadsands Beach is sandy and holds multiple accolades for its environmental management and water quality, including the Blue Flag award, the Quality Coast Award and is a Marine Conservation Society Recommended beach. It’s a large, curved beach nestled between rocky headlands, with red sand and rock pools at the south end.

Activities available on the beach include swimming and sailing. There are also facilities for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The beach is backed by a coastal footpath, part of the South West Coastal Path, ideal for bracing walks and stunning views.
