Calshot Beach is in Lymington, Hampshire. It is recommended for its excellent water quality by the Marine Conservation Society. The beach is shingle and stretches over 1.6km (1mi). Swimming is a popular activity. The spit plays host to one of the largest outdoor activities centre in the UK and offers courses and equipment hire for wind surfing, kite surfing, climbing and sailing.
