About Longsleddale Valley

Longsleddale Valleyis a beautiful and unspoilt valley in the South Lakeland district of the county of Cumbria, England. It is connected to the west by Kentmere Pike and Shipman Knotts, and to the east by Sleddale Fell and its peaks of Grey Crag and Tarn Crag. The valley it is followed by the aqueduct which carries water from Haweswater Reservoir to Heaton Park Reservoir in Manchester. The construction of the aqueduct was ended in 1976. There are a couple of community buildings in Longsleddale Valley.
