About Mwnt Beach

Mwnt Beach is a golden sandy beach backed by steep cliffs with turquoise water, located in the small village Mwnt near Cardigan, in the southern side of Ceredigion, Wales. It has been granted the Green Coast Award. No lifeguard service is provided, but the swimming conditions are considered safe. The beach offers chances to spot dolphins, seals and porpoises. The unique geology of Foel y Mwnt is also a place for uncommon plants and lichens. It can be accesed by a couple of steps, but the climb down is worth it.
