Stock Ghyll Force is a waterfall located near the town of Ambleside in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, England. The water of Stock Ghyll Force cascades down a series of rocky steps totalling 70 ft (21 m) in height. The stream divides into two channels at the top of the waterfall, and then into three, before they are again reunited. The fall is more dramatic after the rain but caution must be exercised as the path becomes slippery.
The waterfall is surrounded by woodland composed of mixed trees in which beech predominates, making it a beautiful spot for visitors and hikers.
