About Swallow Falls

Swallow Falls is a famous system of waterfalls, situated near Betws-y-Coed, Conwy, Wales. The entrance is through an automatic turnstile gate which rotates when inserting a coin. It can be observed from a several platforms, which can be accesed by a pathway and a couple of steps. It offers a spectacular show after torential rains. In spring the volume of the water flowing is powerful and awesome and in autumn the flow slows down but the multi coloured leaves in the surrounding creates a scenic combination. Provides a perfect day out if you want to visit the village of Betws-y-Coed, too.
