Tuition and hire of facilities is available for sailing, wind surfing, kayaking and canoeing and rowing. You can also bring and launch your own craft. Walking, camping, bird watching and fishing from the banks or boats are also common activities. The wider country park has miles of footpaths, including a 14.5 km (9 mi) walk around the lake. Wimbleball Lake and its country park are managed by the South West Lakes Trust, a charity.
