Aberafan Beach is an exceptionally clean and wide sandy beach located near the town of Port Talbot, Neath Port Talbot region, Wales. This beach faces south west into Swansea Bay, being located between the River Neath, on the north side, and the River Afan, on the south east side. Lifeguard service is provided and dogs are allowed all time of the year. If offers really good surfing but it can be dangerous at high tide so beginners should surf on a low tide and avoid the south side.
