Aberdeen Beach is located in the city with the same name, which is also the third most populous in Scotland. The fine golden sands are an attraction for all beach goers, including surfers and windsurfers. Due to high erosion, Aberdeen Beach had lost its sand in some parts. Local authorities brought sand from the southern coast of Aberdeen and filled in the damaged areas.
Local facilities include a leisure centre with a swimming pool, ice rink and indoor sports hall. Queens Links offers a wide range of activities for tourists and locals, including a golf course.
