About Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs Nature Reserve

Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs can be found in Dorset, England. It can only be accessed through the Southwest Coast Path, a 11 km (7 mile) expanse of roughpath which is tough in sides. It includes a spectacular wildlife and wild woodland, nesting peregrine falcons and ravens as well as divert wild flowers and insects. The big landslides that take place between Axmouth and Lyme Regis happen due to geology. The sandstone and chalk absorb water as a sponge and it becomes very heavy, causing breaks in the paths and pushing trees over. It is not allowed to leave the path because to the nature reserve status and the perilous terrain.
