Fossil hunters may strike lucky here; although you’re not permitted to remove your finds from the beach as it’s classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest!
The beach is also part of a stretch awarded the Quality Coast Award and the water is of acceptable quality. Activities popular with visitors include kayaking and canoeing, diving and snorkelling, fishing, swimming and wind surfing.
