About Clent Hills Country Park

About Clent Hills Country Park

Clent Hills Country Park covers over 400 acres of woodland and heath and is managed by the National Trust. It is located around 13 km (8 mi) from Birmingham.

There are many miles of footpaths and bridleways, making it especially popular with walkers and pony trekkers. There are easy access trails for disabled and pushchairs at lower levels and the hills rise to a height of 316 m (1,037 ft) with spectacular views as far as Wales, the Cotswolds, the Peak District and Charnwood Forest on a clear day.

Walton Hill is a quiet part of the country park, an important location for breeding birds and wild insects, and has a wildlife hide for viewing. Guided 8km (5mi) rambles are available – details are on the National Trust website.
