About Cooden Beach

Cooden Beach is near Bexhill in East Sussex. It is sandy and has been granted a Quality Coast Award as well as being Marine Conservation Society Recommended.

The long stretch of sand is ideal for walking and dogs are permitted at any time. On the water, there are separately zoned areas for swimming and for kite and wind surfing, with speed restrictions in place to ensure safety.

There is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Ramsar site nearby, attracting bird watchers and other wildlife lovers. National Cycle Route 2 to Pevensey also runs close to the beach.
