Criccieth Beach is sandy and shingle beach located in the town of Criccieth on Cardigan Bay, Gwynedd, Wales. The city is a seaside resort, ideal for families. Near the beach the ruins of the Criccieth Castle stands, which is one of the main attractions in the area. It is a great spot for sunbathin, swimming and even surfing. The eastern side of the beach is pebbly, ideal for children, the shallow water making a safer place for them. The western part is a mixture of pebble and sand, and it extends along Marine Crescent to Marine Terrace.
