Across two and a half hours, we will discover the heart and soul of Doctor Who in the Welsh capital, and traverse 13 series of the show, while discussing filming locations, important scenes and characters, as well as crucial buildings and streets. The Doctor Who Tour covers a range of locations from Cardiff's Civic Centre area to the city centre itself and then finishes in Cardiff Bay. The final stop will be in Caerphilly town to marvel at Caerphilly Castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest castle in Wales. Entrance is optional; you can also spend your free time exploring the charming town, which is filled with cafes, quaint shops, and souvenir spots. Finally, sit back and enjoy the ride back to Cardiff to the designated meeting point, concluding a day filled with exploration and discovery.

On this two-hour walking tour of central Cardiff we will discuss this journey of Cardiff from Roman outpost to the capital of Wales, which saw the city grow rapidly in size, population and wealth across the nineteenth century in particular. You'll gain 400m of height on the 15km hike which is often over rough, muddy and broken ground. For our hiking troubles, we get amazing scenic views of the park and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the landscape as you get the chance to walk behind some of the waterfalls. Perhaps you will take an invigorating swim in the final pool to finish off the tour!

This walk has been designed by the owner of Wales Outdoors to take in the best of the Wye Valley in the Symmonds Yat area. From the start at the wonderful village store we regularly take in wonderful places of interest such as the viewpoint from Symmonds Yat Rock that looks down upon the almost unbelievable Huntsham Oxbow. The woodland is mostly ours as we are, mostly, off the beaten track throughout. This is a skilfully designed day with plenty of interest for the young and the young at heart alike :)
