Felpham Beach lies to the east of Bognor Regis and, when the tide is out, has large areas of sand beach backed by shingle. Rock pools are left by the receding seawater.
The water quality is excellent and the beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended. Consequently, a whole host of water sports are popular here, including sea kayaking and canoeing, sailing, swimming, surfing and wind surfing. Fishing is also good.
There is a promenade for strolling, along with beach huts and grassy areas for play. It is often much quieter than the better known resort of Bognor.
