About Gairloch Beach

Gairloch Beach is located on the southern side of the village of Gairloch, offering free parking near the golf course. It is a scenic, isolated and undiscovered beach, nestling on a bay that overlooks the Minch and enclosed by hills moorland. This large stretch of beach is basically untouched by visitors, and the sand’s smoothness (secured by natural dunes) is offset by the rough backdrop of wild heather and striped rocks. Take in amazing views of the islands from the sandy seashore, not to mention the awe-inspiring Scottish twilights from its western side.
