About Kintail National Scenic Area

Kintail is an area of mountains classified as full Munros, located in Highland, Scotland. The Five Sisters of Kintail is the main attraction. It owns distinct names: Sgurr na Carnach, Sgurr Fhuaran, Sgurr nan Spainteach, Sgurr na Ciste Duibhe and Sgurr nan Saighead. The five distinctly sharped peaks are a very popular landmark and a well-known hillwalking expedition. The chain including the Five Sisters keeps uninterrupted to the east where it covers a further three Munros, frequently recognised as the Brothers. Beinn Fhada is the other principal mountain in the area.
