About Llanddwyn Beach

Llanddwyn Beach is an amazing sandy beach near the town of Caernarfon, in the Isle of Anglesey, Wales. It is backed by forest and expansive dunes and offers great views of the Snowdonia National Park, Caemarfon and the Llyn Peninsula. Dogs are allowed and it is also a nudist beach. A track takes through the grassy hills from the beach to the nature reserve. Behind it is the Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve, a nice spot for birdwatching and wildlife watching. The historical site of Ynys Llanddwyn is well worth a visit, which can be found a short distance away.
