Loch Beannacharain is located between Scardroy and Carnoch, Highland, Scotland. It lies on the course of River Meig. Offers an excellent fishing of brown trout, but an outboard motor and drogue would be necessary if boat fishing. It has a length of 2.75 km (1.7 miles) and a width of 0.37 km ( 0.23 miles). The maximum depth reaches 50 metres, a good quality boat fishing is to expected along the edges and in the shallower bays at both ends of the loch. The nearby hills to the east and west form a native wind tunnel and the loch can frequently be fierce and rough.
