Loch Eilt is located between the villages of Glenfinnan and Lochailort near Fort William, in Lochaber, western Highlands, Scotland. The loch isolates the districts of Moidart, to the south, and Morar, to the north. It also has a couple of small islands, Eilean Mor, Eilean Gaineamhach, Eilean na Moine etc., covered in ancient Caledonian pine trees which makes it spectacular. The loch was used as a filming place in the series of Harry Potter. Because of the crowded road there are limited viewpoints which makes it not easy to photograph. The best view is from the railway, which is on the southern part of it.
