Loch Loyne is located in Highland, Scotland. The area appears to be wilderness but, although there are no signs of it being inhabited, wide land management is manifest in the forestry and crofting that involve the use of the natural resources of the area. The loch is particularly appreciated by pike fishers but attention should be paid around the banks due to the soft peaty nature of the shore. Great photographs can be taken west over the loch with the Munros of the South Glen Shiel Ridge in the distance.
