Lochan na Lairige is a natural hill loch located between Beinn Ghlas and Meall nan Tamachan, in the west of Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is 2 km (1.25 miles) long and has a width of 0.4 km (0.25 miles). The loch can be easily accessed from the single track road going over the Bridge of Balgie. It is retained by Lawers Dam, a massive counterfort dam, with a length of 344 m (1128 feet) and a height of 42 m (138 feet). Lochnan na Lairige assures water through pipelines and a tunnel to Finlarig Power Station. This reservoir supplies fishing for brown trout, too.
