Lodmoor Country Park lies just 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of Weymouth. It covers 350 acres of land offering a variety of leisure activities including adults’ and children’s outdoor gyms, a go-kart track and a miniature railway.
A cycle path runs through part of the park and along the south side of the RSPB Lodmoor Nature Reserve. This reserve is immediately adjacent to the country park and features hides and interpretative displays for learning about the birds that visit the reserve for its reed bed, open water, salt marsh and wet grassland habitats.
There is a flat 2.5 km circular walk around the wildlife area, suitable for wheelchair users.
