We have no need to use vehicles as we start right on the cycle path and are proudly named a zero-carbon company. Groups are kept small for high guest experience and safety and you'll learn about this ancient city whilst having a lot of fun with our qualified and experienced guides. You will start right in the heart of Craigmillar Castle grounds, close to the city centre and easily accessed by foot, bus, taxi or car (there is free on-site parking) E-bikes can be hired at an additional cost of £20pp cash on the day. Our Highland Lochs and Glens bike tour is the ideal day out for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who really want to get out into nature and be at one with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Your friendly and experienced bike guide will accompany you along a 18 mile (30 km) segment of national cycle route 7, through the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. An area known for its mountains, lochs and ancient forest. Its hard not to be inspired by some of the most stunning Highland landscapes in the country. No wonder this is considered to be one of the most scenic cycle routes in Scotland. Choice of quality manual bikes or pedal assist ebikes, for a more relaxed experience. This tour includes an optional short hike around the scenic balquhidder braes - Weather and group abilitly dependent. Transfers from Edinburgh accommodation are included in cost of tour. Known as the home of golf and one of Scotland’s most historic towns, St Andrews offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable ride. We’ll visit iconic landmarks like St Andrews Castle, the Cathedral ruins, and the harbour, then follow the peaceful Kinness Burn Trail to the secluded Lady Braes Walk. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Bogton Doocot, cruise through Craigtoun Country Park, and take in panoramic views over the town and North Sea. Enjoy a tour on a high powered Speedboat. The Tay Estuary is home to Bottlenose Dolphins, Grey seals, Lighthouses, Oil rigs, Bridges and the new Victoria and Albert Museum on the waterside. The trip is a mixture of thrills and wonder with historical and nature information given on the way. Trips last approximately one hour and are available from age seven up.
