Northton Beach is situated on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Taking a walk along this amazing shore you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Hills o Harris. From the parking area at the end of the village there is an attractive walk to Rubh' an Teampaill, the headland just beyond the furthest beach. Here there is a wrecked medieval chapel constructed on top of the remnants of an Iron Age broch. An ancient known settlement in the Outer Hebrides, it dates back to the Mesolithic Period 9,000 years ago.
