Balranald Beach is located on the west part of the Isle of North Uist, in the Outer Hebrides. It makes part of the Balranald RSPB Reserve. This sandy beach has marshes, sand dunes and an information centre to explore. Balranald is the most westerly point of North Uist, therefore, the headland here is a known place for those who want to see the northerly Skua passage up to the Arctic, which usually takes place mid to late May.
