Sands of Forvie Beach

Sands of Forvie Beach is located in Aberdeenshire, in the northeast of Scotland. It is a nature reserve, which has the fifth widest sand dune system in UK. The reserve contains the largest colony of eider duck. The area is also designated as a Special Protection Area for wildlife conservation purposes. The beach is an amazing place to visit, where tourists can enjoy the stunning views that nature has to offer. The seals colonies living there make the whole experience unforgettable. Bird life is rich and the beach offers the visitors the chance to watch the summer acrobatics of diving terns.
