About Sgurr na Ciche

Sgurr na Ciche is a mountain in the west of Scotland, in the remote and wild Knoydart region, with a height of 1,040 m (3,410 ft) and a prominence of 839 m (2,753 ft).

The hill has a distinctive pointy shape, making it a well-known landmark in views from other significant Scottish mountains, including Carn Eige and Ben Nevis. The view from the summit gives an impressive outlook down the length of Loch Nevis, from the head of which it can be ascended, but the remote nature of this route means that it is more often approached as part of a circuit route taking in neighbouring Munros Garbh Cioch Mhor and Sgurr nan Coireachan from the head of Glen Dessarry.
