Aberdour Silver Sands

Aberdour Silver Sands is one of the most attractive beaches on the Fife's coast, Scotland. The shore looks out to the islands of Inchmickery and Inchcolm, where a famous abbey lies. It is a perfect place for a family day out. It is patrolled by lifeguards during the mid-summer season. It offers a couple of facilities, such as toilets, cafes, first aid, a dog exercise area but a dog restricted area, too. Beyond Silver Sands walkers may follow the Fife Coastal Footpath while cliff top walks are also available at Hawkcraig, which boasts stunning views across the River Forth.
