On this two-hour walking tour of central Cardiff we will discuss this journey of Cardiff from Roman outpost to the capital of Wales, which saw the city grow rapidly in size, population and wealth across the nineteenth century in particular. For our hiking troubles, we get amazing scenic views of the park and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the landscape as you get the chance to walk behind some of the waterfalls. Perhaps you will take an invigorating swim in the final pool to finish off the tour!

Marvel at the cliffs of Nash Point, part of the Wales Coast Path, which offers spectacular walking routes with breath-taking views of the Bristol Channel. Afterward, spend some time at Dunraven Bay, a popular destination known for its impressive limestone cliffs and rock pools. Then, take a look at the ruins of Ogmore Castle, featuring parts of the stone keep, a curtain wall, and a gatehouse. Next, enjoy a stroll through St. Fagans National Museum of History, one of Europe's leading open-air museums and Wales's most popular heritage attraction. The final stop will be in Caerphilly town to marvel at Caerphilly Castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest castle in Wales. Entrance is optional; you can also spend your free time exploring the charming town, which is filled with cafes, quaint shops, and souvenir spots. Finally, sit back and enjoy the ride back to Cardiff to the designated meeting point, concluding a day filled with exploration and discovery.
