Baleshare Beach can be found on the flat island of Baleshare, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Baleshare stands to the southwest of North Uist. Baleshare is linked to the rest of North Uist by a causeway, and the beach is one of the most excellent in the Outer Hebrides. If you cross along the coastline, you can find ancient archaeological remnants and ruins, and admire the beautiful sand dunes which surround the beach. Two prehistoric settlements have been discovered, which include the remains of a circular stone house and pieces of ceramics, bone and metal. In common with other sites in the zone, they are threatened by coastal erosion.
