About Cannock Chase Country Park

At 3,000 acres, Cannock Chase is one of England’s largest country parks and has miles of cycling and walking trails to explore. Large parts of the park are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest and Special Areas of Conservation because of their important wildlife habitats.

There is a visitor and educational centre at Marquis Drive with a children’s playground and self-guided walking trails begin here, including one for the visually impaired. Cannock Chase itself is Britain’s smallest mainland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
