Cawsand Beach is sheltered within Cawsand Bay on the Rame Peninsula in the far south east of Cornwall. The beach is a mixture of sand and some shingle with rock pools exposed at low tide; and it slopes gently into the sea. It is Marine Conservation Society Recommended for the excellent quality of its water and there is a designated swimming area with markers in summer. Other activities include sailing.
The beach also forms part of a wider Area of Natural Beauty, and for walkers, it is on the South West Coast Path.
