About Creag Meagaidh

Creag Meagaidh is a magnificent mountain on the northern part of Glen Spean, Scotland. Its height reaches 1130 m (3710 feet) and is classified as Munro. It is a complex summit, embracing the shape of a plain summit plateau, from which five peaks radiate. The mountain is popular for the cliffs surrounding the corrie of Coire Ardair. The most direct path to the summit begins from the head of the corrie, reaching a narrow gap between the crags. This mountain is a designated Special Protection Area and also a National Nature Reserve.
