Loch Ossian is a loch, long about 5 km (3.1 miles), on the northeastern edge of Rannoch Moor, located near Corrour, Highland. The loch is drained by the River Ossian. It is distant from public roads, the closest access being from Corrour railway station. Loch Ossian Youth Hostel stands near the loch and is accessible only by rail, bike or foot. Groups and families can book a room for exclusive use, with amazing views of the lake. The lake stands in the shadow of three Munros, Beinn na Lap, Sgor Gaibhre and Carn Dearg.
