About Cusworth Park

Cusworth Park is a Grade I listed Georgian country house set in extensively landscaped parkland. The Hall now houses the Museum of South Yorkshire Life and is an important educational resource locally. The grounds have well-surfaced walks and formal gardens, lakes and woodland. The gardens are on a steep hill, but there are frequent opportunities to stop and rest.

There are also mixed mobility routes for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Notable wildlife in park includes wildfowl, kingfishers, toads and frogs; as well as tawny owls and around six different bat species.
