About Dornoch Beach

Dornoch Beach is a gorgeous extension of golden sand, situated on the tranquil Dornoch Firth. Dornoch is a town and seaside resort in Highland, Scotland. Miles of golden sand spread from Dornoch Point leading past Embo beach to the mouth of Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve. Beyond north, along the coast, there are two other designated beaches situated at Golspie and Brora. Next to the beach is a Site of Special Scientific Interest that characterises nesting birds, flora and fauna. This nice, long blue flag beach has been granted a Seaside Award as an accurate bathing beach.
