About Nairn Beach

Nairn Beach is a marvellous sandy beach in Scottish Highlands. It is backed by low sand dunes and a promenade with an exposed, grassy links area. This fantastic sandy beach in the middle of Nairn is a superb attraction and popular with families, especially in summer. The beach has nice views across the Moray Firth to the Black Isles and its shore is home to a resident school of dolphins. There is also a wide range of coastal promenades in either way with a nature reserve at Kingsteps in the east and a viewpoint to the west.
