Gruinard North Beach is located near Poolewe, in the northern part of Ross and Cromarty, Scottish Highlands. It is characterised by rocky coves and pink sands, with landscape views of An Teallach and the northern Highlands. The area is very attractive from a geological viewpoint, and many uncommon stones can be discovered near the rocks and shoreline. Gruinard Bay has a series of settlements, mostly situated on the eastern coast of the bay. On the southeast side, the little hamlet of Little Gruinard is located where the similar named river leaves land.
