Harlyn Bay Beach is on the north coast of Cornwall, around 4.8 km (3 mi) from Padstow. It is a sandy beach, very popular with families and novice surfers, and stretches for around 0.5 km (two thirds of a mile). It lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Swimming and surfing are the most popular activities here, but there are also some fantastic walking opportunities on the coastal path beyond the beach with stunning views across the sea for photographers and nature lovers alike. The water quality is excellent and the beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended.
