About Jumbles Reservoir

Jumbles Reservoir lies within the Jumbles Country Park in the valley of Bradshaw Brook, on the southern edge of the West Pennine Moors. A circuit of the reservoir stretches for around 3 km (2 mi) on a waterside footpath. Water-based activities available on the reservoir include angling, boating and sailing. The wider country park is a highly popular walking area for the local population, with a network of paths throughout the park and a wide variety of wildlife to view. An information centre is open throughout the year to elaborate on local and natural history in the area.
