Lancing Beach Green

Lancing Beach Green is backed by a public open space on which events are held throughout the year. It is a shingle beach with stretches of compact, clean sand revealed at low tide. Popular with swimmers and kite surfers, the sea has zoned areas for both these activities. Sailing, fishing and wind surfing are also available here. A short stroll along Lancing seafront towards Shoreham leads to the Widewater Lagoon, which forms Lancing Widewater Nature Reserve, a good place for bird watching.
