Llyn y Gader is a shallow lake located in the Snowdonia National Park, Gweynedd region of Wales, and it nestles in the shadows of soaring Y Garn, a summit of 947 metres (3,107 feet). It lies just off the road to Caernarfon to Beddgelert.
