Privately owned but open to the public, Lusty Glaze Beach is more than 1.5 km (~1 mi) of sandy beach nestled in a horseshoe-shaped cove and surrounded on three sides by 45 m (150 ft) high cliffs. The beach features an activity centre with facilities for climbing, abseiling, coasteering, body boarding, surfing, kayaking and canoeing, swimming and snorkelling. There is also a beach zip wire, the only one in Cornwall and one of Europe's longest, highest and fastest. Zoning is in place for water sports and the beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended. Access is only via steep steps or from Tolcarne Beach at low tide.
