About Maidencombe Beach

Maidencombe Beach is Marine Conservation Society Recommended and has been awarded the Blue Flag and Quality Coast Awards. You will therefore find clean water and good conditions for safe swimming off this quiet, sandy beach. Pedaloes are also available for hire. It is backed by red sandstone cliffs and accessed via steep steps, so will not be suitable for everyone. However, terrific views can be had of the stunning rock formations in this area, formed by erosion, when walking along this stretch of the South West Coastal Path on the cliffs above.
